• People with a diagnosed mental illness/disability are eligible for exemption from payment of co-payment fees.
• Exemption applies for both emergency and routine general care.
• Case workers are required to complete and sign an exemption form when referring clients and forward this to the dental clinic. These forms are available from the clinics and Dental Health Services Victoria.

• People with a mental illness/disability will be given priority where possible to enable better access to timely care.

• Dental appointments can be made by contacting the nearest community dental clinic.
